We strive to provide early intervention your family can depend on. We aim to:

  • Be helpful, kind and respctful
  • Help families meet the outcomes on their Individual Family Service Plan or IFSP for short
  • Promote learning and the attainment of developmental milestones
  • Respond to questions and  inquiries in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with others on the IFSP Team and other agencies and organizations as needed

Our staff of 20+ highly trained and effective therapists are eager to partner with families to help them help their children. Through the use of modeling and coaching during daily routines, we are making a difference.  We not only  strive to provide excellent interventions to children and their families, but we continuously expand our knowledge base and challenge ourselves to find new and inovative approaches to help change the trajectory of progress in those we serve.  The first three years of childhood are a time of great growth and development.  Early intervention works and we would love to work along with you to capitalize on this growth potential.

Our mission

Accord's service area includes  Bartholomew, Jackson and Johnson Counties.  If you are seeking a dynamic team of therapists to join you  on your First Steps journey, look no further!  We are accepting referrals. Due to the health concerns related to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are offering some homebased in-person visits along with  tele-therapy.  The safety of families and staff is a priority and conducting visits via a phone or computer is by far the safest means of service delivery at this time. Although virtual visits are new  here in Indiana, we have had great success with them.  There is ample research available to support this viable therapy option.
